And that\u2019s why it\u2019s so important that we work hard to break down barriers to participation.<\/span><\/p><p><span>People with disabilities often find it difficult to get involved in sport due to there simply being far less provision than for able bodied people. Not just as cricketers but as people as well\u201d.<\/span><\/em><\/p><p><span>The team competes in Super 9s cricket against other counties. Super 9s is a format of the sport which uses a soft ball and is designed to facilitate disabled players and those new to the sport.<\/span><\/p><p><span>In order to keep going as a club, they depend on external funding and sponsorship, which as we all know is difficult to come by in grassroots sport.
