Who are Farncombe YFC?<\/strong><\/h2>

Farncombe Youth FC is a volunteer-led grassroots community football club for 5-18\u00a0year olds in Godalming, Surrey and surrounding areas<\/span><\/p>

Founded in 1975 as Farncombe Boys with two teams, almost fifty years later they now have 39 teams!<\/span><\/p>

Fun fact: The club started life playing in sky blue but in 1991 changed their colours to navy blue and red after getting hold of some Barcelona kits that were \u201cgoing cheap\u201d.<\/span><\/p>

How have you got your club to where it is now?<\/strong><\/h2>

We are well organised, player focused and have our own grounds which all helps.<\/span><\/em><\/p>

Does your club have a unique selling point? And if so, what is it?<\/strong><\/h2>

Not especially but I believe we are a well run community club with a good ethos.<\/span><\/em><\/p>

Tell us a little about your club\u2019s current kit.<\/strong><\/h2>

For teamwear we have gone with a bespoke <\/span><\/em>adidas miTeam<\/u><\/span><\/em><\/a> kit which is great and the kids love it. The quality is great and as you would expect from a replica strip.<\/span><\/em><\/p>

Has your kit (and Kitlocker), helped establish your club\u2019s identity?<\/strong><\/h2>

They have both with marketing and promotion of the new kit and placings and designs of sponsors.<\/span><\/em><\/p>

Has a uniformed look opened up any new opportunities?<\/strong><\/h2>

Yes, we had our record year for sponsorship this year, raising circa \u00a320k for our 39 teams.<\/span><\/em><\/p>

We have also had a record number of joiners which may be not be down to the kit, but the kids seem to wear it everywhere.<\/span><\/em><\/p>

Has your online store alleviated any stresses with kit ordering?<\/strong><\/h2>

Massively \u2013 it makes a big difference.<\/span><\/p>

What one thing that you know now, do you wish you knew when you started our with your club?<\/strong><\/h2>

Invest in the grounds with proper maintenance.<\/span><\/em><\/p>
